Tune up!!! What is it?
The old notion of a tune up is still used today. the motoring public believes that a TUNE UP will solve that pesky check engine light. Many shop take advantage of this and advertise to the unsuspecting public, encouraging them to have this done, at set rates for most cars. The Tune Up of today, does not exist. Today's cars are regulated by sensors
and a control module "computer" designed to last for the life of the auto. Spark plugs are designed , on the average car, to last 50,000 miles and up. When the check engine light comes on you should schedule an appointment with us "(951) 520-0483 " for a free scan of your cars system. This scan will reveal a trouble code which can direct the technician to the troubled area for evaluation and analyzing. Tune ups, i.e. spark plug replacement is done during normal maintenance of the auto. Hence, our belief that it is not honest to entice the customer to have services performed which are not recommended by the manufacturer....
